Judging by the times it was a slightly faster day than for the same event last year. Where I was, at Farnham, it was very muggy with a quite strong breeze that increased during the day.
Phoenix numbers were depleted due to the ladies riding the National Championship 25 which clashed. Simon had a lay-in and saved himself for the Mens National Championship in the afternoon, whilst Joe rode both: recording a 1:2:23 in the morning and then 1:6:49 in the afternoon, by which time it was blowing a gale!

The Redmon won the team again, by the small margin of some 12 minutes!
