At last a moderately fast evening with a cross-wind that wasn't too strong. Those who have only been riding club 10s all improved, if only slightly - with the exception of Tony Tugwell who managed to leave his legs at home! And we finally got to hold the Championship 10: no cones, no rainstorms. Although I did wonder a bit at the "roadworks 800yrds ahead" signs as we approached the turn. But signs and cones remained safely out of the way on the verge, and there was no sign of any workmen.
